The oil press is located in the village of Sant’Ambrogio only 5 km from Cefalù. Giovanna (speaks English), the granddaughter of the original owners of the press, will be more than happy to explain its history and the process of oil pressing.
During the visit you will taste oil that made from the olives that are collected around the village and other Sicilian oils. This will give you an opportunity to distinguish the difference in flavours of oils depending on the terrain and the variety of olive.
